Here it is Social Golfers. Our 9 holes team competition is starting next weekend. Please read the rules closely as some have changed.

Attention Social Golfers! Our 9-hole team competition is set to begin next weekend with a few rule changes to note. The competition will consist of 10 weeks, with games running from Thursday to Sunday. To participate, you must be a Golfing or Social member, and there is a $10 entry fee per card.

Teams will have 8 players each, with the highest 4 card points contributing to the team score. Participants will earn 1 point just for playing, an additional point for equaling their handicap, and one point for every shot under their handicap. Handicaps will carry over from last year’s competition, and Golf Australia members will have their handicaps halved initially.

These adjustments aim to level the playing field and increase the competitiveness of the competition. Teams with fewer players available can still compete, and the entry fee must be paid at the bar. Card entries will not be accepted late. Get ready for a great season of golf ahead! 🏌️‍♀️ 🏌🏼‍♂️⛳️
