This weekend, Harden Country Club (golf news) hosted a memorable stableford event, thanks to the generous sponsorship from Kempys Concreting. We witnessed our biggest field of the year, with participants eager to compete for some fantastic prizes.

Celebrating Our Junior and Senior Achievers

Our youngest member, Riley Murray, stole the spotlight with an impressive 44 points, claiming a $100 meat tray. It’s delightful to see our juniors thriving on the course and even more satisfying when they outplay their parents!

Runner-up honours went to Bernie Parker, who also secured a $100 meat tray with 39 points, winning on a count back. A long-time supporter of our club, Bernie’s achievement was celebrated with well-deserved refreshments.

Special Achievements on the Course

Maryanne Fitzgerald clinched the $50 nearest to pin voucher with a precise 1.36m shot on the 16th hole, sinking it for a birdie. Jeanette Elliott showcased her skills by winning the $50 longest drive on the 9th and chipping in for an eagle.
