Here it is Social Golfers. Our 9 holes team competition is starting next weekend 13th of February. Please read the rules closely as some have changed.

Gather around social golfers! Our 9-hole team competition is kicking off next weekend on the 13th of February, and we’re excited for some friendly competition. Make sure to go over the rules carefully as there have been some updates.

The competition will consist of 9 holes, alternating weekly, over a 9-week period from Thursday to Sunday. To participate, you must be a Golfing or Social member of the club. The entry fee is $15 per player and all payments must be made in advance at the bar to have your card entered. Each team will have 8 players, with the highest 4 card points contributing to the team’s score.

Players will earn 1 point just for participating, another point for meeting their handicap, and an additional point for each shot under their handicap. Handicaps will carry over from the previous year’s competition. Golfers with Golf Australia handicaps will have their handicaps halved at the beginning of the competition.

Remember, each player must have an individual card that is correctly filled out with the score, handicap, and nett score. No late entries will be accepted, so be sure to submit your card on time. Get ready for some exciting rounds of golf and happy golfing to all the participants! ⛳🏌️‍♀️🏌🏼‍♂️
